The need

Demand planners and sales teams were constrained by spreadsheet-based reporting. Reports were often several days old, lacked dynamic drill-down capabilities, and required IT support for even minor changes. With seasonal volumes increasing, the business needed live operational KPIs—delivered directly within S/4HANA—without embarking on a lengthy BI transformation project.

Our solution

S5 led a focused, eight-week embedded-analytics sprint:

1. System readiness & quick wins – activated standard content and KPI tiles in the customer’s S/4HANA tenant.

2. Analytical queries & Fiori apps – Created reusable CDS-based analytical queries and Fiori report/list pages for key metrics such as margin, inventory, and order cycle time.

3. Enablement – Delivered practical, hands-on workshops to equip key users with the skills to extend CDS views and build reports independently.
