Aibel, the leader within the European offshore wind industries and electrification of offshore oil and gas installations and onshore processing plants, turbocharges its SAP system with plug-and-play solutions based on BlueWorx and delivered by S5.
BlueWorx is an application designed for enterprises using SAP Plant Maintenance that need to maintain and inspect assets. It is easy for administrators to tailor to company-specific asset management practices, and the inspection or maintenance processes are easy to follow for users in front of the asset.
The ongoing project we are carrying out with Aibel is focusing on improvements in the PM and MM modules. We are simplifying the PM processes from creating notifications to completing work orders so that Aibel’s employees can seamlessly use handheld devices in the field for getting the relevant info in the field while doing the maintenance work. S5 team has developed several Neptune apps for warehouse activities such as inventory count app, label print, and goods receipt. We are also currently working on a goods arrival app which will be used in the goods pre-arrival process at the yard. It will be used for both purchase-order- and non-purchase-order-related goods arrivals. The goal is to support the internal track and trace in the yard.
