How many are too many? Well, this question doesn’t concern the snacks and tech talents we attracted during ICT Day at the University of Stavanger.
ICT Day is an annual meeting between the business world and electrical and computer students at the University of Stavanger. The ICT Day is organized by the line associations LED (Line Association for Electricity and Data) and ISI (Interest organization for Civil Engineering Students in Information Technology). During ICT Day, companies can market themselves to students through stands, speed interviews, and presentations. The event is open to all engineering students but is particularly aimed at electrical and computer students on bachelor’s and master’s courses. On October 4, we took the opportunity to meet the students and their interest far exceeded our expectations! Our technologies and projects got much attention, but we suppose (yummy) promo products from our fantastic partner Orkla Confectionery & Snacks, could be a contributing factor. Also, a student – Jørgen Hauge – won the main S5 Prize. What a day full of positive energy!
