Since before this summer we have been busy implementing new, easy-to-use SAP Fiori apps at Stora Enso. In this project S5 utilises both Neptune Software and SAP WebIDE in order to build and enhance the user experience.
Stora Enso is implementing “Smart Maintenance” concept to support the digitisation transformation. This concept is tying many data sources together such as machine condition data, machine criticality, service levels, spare part supply, availability of service engineers, travel time, and more. It’s about being able to pull all this data together and to visualise, automate and optimise decision alternatives through software systems to predict and prevent malfunctions before they happen.
The new mobile solution for SAP Maintenance notification/order management including material management is the one step on this bigger concept. Together with S5 Consulting, Stora Enso will enable and achieve higher, more cost efficient preventive maintenance for operator and ordinary maintenance. This will significantly reduce unplanned maintenance work, improve work safety, get better control of maintenance work, and achieve cost and production efficiency improvements across the mills.
